Victim Advocates Reaching Out, also known as VARO, is a 24-hour non-profit organization that strives to provide free & confidential emergency intervention services to victims and families of domestic violence, family violence, sexual assault, abuse, violent crime and other traumatic events. Over the years, VARO has serviced Guam with intervention/advocacy, safety planning, emergency shelter, food, clothing, transportation, personal hygiene kits, referrals, and other empowering services in collaboration with other community partners. VARO’s services would not be possible without the generous support of volunteers and kind individuals, like YOU, in our community. The 3rd Annual Purple Gala will help raise funds to continue VARO’s mission of serving the victims/survivors of crime and their families.
